Andrea Jacket is a short jacket in two colours, knitted in a slip stitch pattern with i-cord edging along all edges, fake pockets, and lovely decorative gold buttons.

Andrea Jacket is worked from the top down. Stitches are cast on using a provisional cast-on. First, the upper back is worked, then the shoulders of the front pieces are worked - one shoulder at a time. The front pieces are joined with the back at the armhole, and worked back and forth over all stitches for shaping. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up directly from the body. Finally, i-cord is worked around all edges.
