Sussie Sweater is an oversized sweater knitted in teddy yarn with a contrasting multicolor pattern and a large ribbed neckline. A cozy garment that invites the warmth of a fireplace and a cup of hot cocoa.
The Sussie Sweater is knitted top-down with raglan increases and a round neckline. The upper part is worked back and forth with raglan increases while shaping the neckline. After this, the work is joined in the round. The pattern is then introduced. Once the desired length is reached, ribbing is knitted at the bottom edge. The sleeves are worked in the round with decreases toward the wrists, ending with ribbed cuffs. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline to knit the ribbed collar.
