Vigga Sweater is a thick mohair sweater with stripes made from a bulky, uneven yarn quality that resembles hand-spun yarn.
The Vigga Sweater is knitted from the top down in a stripe pattern of two different yarn qualities. The stitches are cast on with a provisional cast-on. First, the upper part of the back is knitted, then the shoulders of the front are knitted—one shoulder at a time. The neckline is then shaped, and the front pieces are joined into a single front piece. Under the armhole, the front and back pieces are joined, and knitting continues in the round until binding off. The sleeve stitches are picked up directly from the body.
